On April 14th and 15th, the Plevna 7-12 Band and Choir performed at the District 10 Music Festival in Miles City, Montana.
The Plevna Concert Band received a I (Superior) rating from one adjudicator, a II (Excellent) rating from the other adjudicator, and a II(Excellent) rating on sight reading. The Plevna Concert Choir received a II (Excellent) rating from both adjudicators and a II (Excellent) rating for sight singing.
Trae Oberlander, Hugo Thielen, and Isaac Kelly all performed solos on Saturday 4/15/23. Trae's Bass Clarinet solo (Royal March) received a I (Superior) rating and is qualified to perform at the state music festival. Isaac's Euphonium solo (Venture) received a I (Superior) rating and is qualified to perform at the state music festival. Hugo's Vocal solo (Old Dan Tucker) received a I (Superior) rating and is qualified to perform at the state music festival. Isaac's Vocal solo (Shenandoah) received a I (Superior) rating and is qualified to perform at the state music festival.
The boys will be performing on Friday, 5/5/23, at Skyview High School in Billings for the Eastern State Music Festival.
