Region BPA Results

The Plevna High School and Mid-Level Business Professionals of America teams traveled to Baker on December 4th, to compete in the regional conference.  High School Students competed in a variety of events including: Banking & Finance, Financial Math & Analysis, Personal Financial Management, Computer Network Technology, Device Configuration & Troubleshooting, Information Technology Concepts, Computer Programming Concepts, Entrepreneurship, Prepared Speech,  Parliamentary Procedures,  Health Administration Concepts, Digital Marketing Concepts and Meeting and Event Planning Concepts.  All 6 High School Students qualified for the State BPA Leadership Conference in March.  All 6 students also qualified in more than one event, with 4 of them qualifying in all of their events.  Team members are:  Hayden Lane, Trae Oberlander, Ella Gray, Kali Dulin, Brylee Swartz, and Hugo Thielen.

The Mid-Level BPA team also did very well.  This is the first year for a middle-level chapter and students in grades 6-8 were eligible to participate in BPA.  Team members are: Karst Rose, Quinn Nemitz, Jaelle Kilsdonk, Sparticus Lia,  Sophie Mellon, Felicia Li, Lily Eisele, Corbin Buerkle, Liam Lane, Benjamin Watkins, and Chaes Oberlander.  They competed in a variety of events including:  Video Production Team, Digital Citizenship, Computer Literacy, Business Math Fundaments, Spreadsheets, Communication Skills,  and Business Fundamentals.  Most of the team will advance to State in March and again, many of them placed in multiple events.
